Whether you love kayaking, or have never tried it before, this is an awesome way to explore some of the most scenic rocky coasts in Cyprus. You can enjoy this private sea kayak experience with a friend, a loved one, or by yourself, with an experienced guide who will show you some hidden gems of Governors Beach. The deep blue waters are ideal for snorkelling, if you are up for it, which will definitely enrich this experience.

The guide will pick you up from your hotel, or an agreed location that suits you, either from Limassol or Nicosia. The kayak trip starts from Governor’s beach and initially, we kayak west along the various white rocks all the way to Agios Georgios Alamanos cove, and back. If kayakers want we can go a bit further west of Agios Georgios Alamanos cove, where there are two big sea caves. (in eight-hour packages of course we have more time to explore)

This is a private experience, for up to two persons plus the guide, which means it can be tailomade to fit your needs and preferences, depending on availability of time and weather.

The sit-on-top kayaks are light watercraft, that can be used by individuals with no kayaking experience.

Duration (including transportation from agreed location and back): 6 hours

Pickup time: To be agreed with the travelers.
Usually around 9:00am (it is strongly recommended to start even earlier, as the sea tends to be calmer early in the morning).

Pickup location: At an agreed place (eg hotel, etc).
From Limassol the trip would probably provide us with around five hours of exploration. From Nicosia, a bit shorter than four hours.

The basic kayaking route: Green Bay – Konnos beach – Agioi Anargyroi – Kamara tou Koraka and back (9 km / 5.5 mi)

Transportation: Citroen C8 MPV car (will be informed beforehand in case a different car is used)

Please note

Not recommended for participants with heart issues or other serious medical conditions.
Travelers can present either a paper or an electronic voucher for this activity.
Minors can participate provided they are escorted by their parent(s).
If the customers agree, in case of forecasted choppy sea, instead we kayak between Pissouri bay and the White Cliffs(if the weather is expected to be bad everywhere, we cancel the trip).

What to bring

Water is a must (though one could buy in Protaras). Sun protection, bathing suite, snorkelling equipment, towels.
Please keep in mind that while we do provide things like a dry bag, travellers should be clear that they would probably get wet and they should not bring along things that would be damaged by salt water.
The kayaks are light, only 18 kilograms each and can go relatively fast, depending also on the weight on them. There is some storage place on them. At the same time, people should keep in mind that increasing the weight on the sea kayaking, increases the work they would need to do to move the kayak forward.
