East Cape Greco Kayak Trip
€280.00
Sea Kayaking for up to 2 persons (+18 y.o.)
Description
Whether you love kayaking, or have never tried it before, this is an awesome way to explore some of the most scenic rocky coasts in Cyprus. You can enjoy this private sea kayak experience with a friend, a loved one, or by yourself, with an experienced guide who will show you some hidden gems of Cape Greco. The crystal clear waters are ideal for snorkelling, if you are up for it, which will definitely enrich this experience.
The guide will pick you up from your hotel, or an agreed location that suits you, either from Ayia Napa, Protaras, Larnaca or Nicosia. The kayak trip starts from Green Bay beach and initially, we kayak south just outside Cape Greko until you reach the tip of Konnos beach. You contiue south past Agioi Anargyroi cave and reach south as far as ‘Kamara tou Koraka’ (‘Crow’s arch’) natural bridge. You then return back in the opposite direction via Agioi Anargyroi, exploring more of the coastline upto the north end of Konnos beach. If the sea is calm, it is highly recommended that you do some snorkeling – there is a really good chance of spotting sea turtles either in Konnos beach or in Green bay!

Please note
Not recommended for participants with heart issues or other serious medical conditions.
Travelers can present either a paper or an electronic voucher for this activity.
Minors can participate provided they are escorted by their parent(s).
If the customers agree, in case of forecasted choppy sea, instead we kayak around Ayia Napa Sea caves (if the weather is expected to be bad everywhere, we cancel the trip).
What to bring
Water is a must (though one could buy in Protaras). Sun protection, bathing suite, snorkelling equipment, towels.
Please keep in mind that while we do provide things like a dry bag, travellers should be clear that they would probably get wet and they should not bring along things that would be damaged by salt water.
The kayaks are light, only 18 kilograms each and can go relatively fast, depending also on the weight on them. There is some storage place on them. At the same time, people should keep in mind that increasing the weight on the sea kayaking, increases the work they would need to do to move the kayak forward.
